Dayton Live’s Education & Engagement programs enrich the lives, learning and leisure of Miami Valley residents by providing free and low-cost creative experiences that are varied, diverse and accessible. We believe everyone in our community deserves to experience the arts and express themselves creatively regardless of skill level, age, gender, race, ethnicity, abilities or socioeconomic status and our many community collaborations enable us to fulfill that belief.

The Discovery Series presents school-day fieldtrips to carefully selected shows designed to enhance curriculum connections throughout subject areas.
We offer a variety of classes for children and young adults covering a variety of topics and all culminate in a final Informance opportunity in the PNC Arts Annex!
Being a Teen Usher or Ambassador (for teens ages 14-18) immerses you into the performing arts experience.
The Miami Valley High School Theatre Awards and Awards Showcase (MVHSTA) celebrate, support, and advocate for high school theatre education throughout the Miami Valley region.
Ever wonder what it takes to prepare a stage for a Broadway show? Join us for Bagels & Broadway, a unique opportunity for you to find out first-hand. The Teacher’s Lounge is a place where teachers and school administrators from all over the Miami Valley can unwind, socialize, and enjoy an opening-night performance at the Schuster Center.
Master Classes are unique opportunities for high school students to work directly with cast members from select Broadway in Dayton productions. Specific content varies with each Master Class.
Singing, dancing, and so much more! Each participant receives a ticket to a Broadway in Dayton performance (when available), and the opportunity to share their work with an audience of friends and family.
Week-long camps with professional theatre artists featuring singing, dancing, acting, improv, games, and more! Each participant receives a camp T-shirt and gets the opportunity to share their work with an audience of friends and family.
Each Group Master Class uses active techniques to expand your students’ connection of creative and critical thinking skills, leadership and collaboration skills, and communication skills.
Each year, Dayton Live’s Education & Engagement team offers one or more in-depth education projects at no charge to participating students and teachers.
