Dayton Live strives to build and sustain an equitable and inclusive work environment where cultural diversity is celebrated and valued. We believe that a diverse workforce, reflective of the communities we serve, helps us become a stronger community partner. All employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital or family status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Dayton Live’s mission is to strengthen community engagement in the arts through inspiring performances, educational opportunities, and world-class venues. Located in the heart of downtown Dayton, Dayton Live is one of city’s premier not-for-profit arts organizations and elevates a thriving downtown experience as the primary host and presenter for performing arts in the region.
If you have the time, we have the perfect volunteer gig for you! With more than 400 volunteers graciously giving of their time assisting patrons as ushers, bartenders, greeters, ticket scanners, and more, these individuals donate more than 50,000 hours of their time each year, and we could never do what we do without them!
If you’re 14-18 years old, check out our Teen Usher program! Being a Teen Usher immerses you in the performing arts experience. You’ll be giving back to your community through volunteering, and you’ll have access to top-notch performances.
